The level program represents the foundation of studies in classical ballet.
Students expand their ballet vocabulary, as they strengthen their bodies and deepen
their understanding of the mechanics of movement. Each year of the Elementary Program
takes a minimum of two years to complete. Promotion to each level is contingent to
satisfactory achievement of the syllabus for that level.
In addition to developing strong technique and beautiful posture, students gain valuable
life skills such as self-discipline, creativity, confidence, and self-esteem.
Student in the Level Program are eligible for participation in the annual New York Nutcracker.
