As you are undoubtedly aware, there are currently public health concerns about swine flu. While we have had no reports of anyone at the Claire School of Dance with a case of swine flu, we are taking the following precautions:

1. Children with fever or flu-like illness are not allowed to take class.
2. We will administer hand sanitizer to all children as they enter the classroom.
3. We are moving the Parents Day Demonstration from a school-wide event (originally scheduled for Sunday, May 17^th) to a classroom-based event that will take place on the student’s last day of class.

There will be NO performances on Sunday, May 17^th.
Parents are invited instead to their child’s last class of the 08/09 year: the week of May 11^th-16^th.

Students will receive their fairy crown or necklace, certificate, and rose.

We believe that these common sense precautions are the best protection for our students and our best defense against the spread of swine flu.
