Classes are offered to students beginning at age 2½.
Our Early Childhood Program
provides a developmentally appropriate dance education for the
very young dancer. This program consists of
- Toddler Dance (2½ - 3 years old),
- Creative Movement I (3 1/2 - 4 years old),
- Creative Movement II (4 to 5, Pre-K),
- Pre-Ballet (Kindergarten),
- and Primary (First Grade).
Level Classes, also known as our Elementary Program,
are open to students aged 7 and up and are traditionally structured classes
of ballet and modern.
- 30 minute classes: Toddler Dance
- 45 minute classes: Creative Movement I and II, Pre-Ballet & Primary
- 60 minute classes: Level I, II and III
- 90 minute classes: Level IV and V
We also offer certain classes in our Summer Session.
In order to provide quality instruction, our classes
are limited to 10-12 students. Placement is at the discretion of the instructor. Students
with no previous experience must enroll prior to January 15th unless joining
a newly-created beginner class.
Our studio is also home to Tap Classes with Sara Draper, Pilates mat classes, and Aikdio classes with Dr. Jaideep Mukherjee.
And, in addition to classes taught at our two studios in the Heights, Claire School of Dance also offers classes at
Country Day Montessori, Cathedral House
Montessori, Sherwood Forest Montessori, and Rice Children's Campus.

Registration, Tuition & Payment
Students register for an entire class year, rather than for individual semesters. The fee schedule reflects tuition for the 2008-2009 class year.
There is a $35 registration fee.
Parents have two payment options for tuition:
- Pay the full year's tuition at the time of registration.
Parents making a one-time payment receive a discount.
- Pay the tuition in four installments, per the payment schedule at the right.
Parents making installments must enroll in our automatic debit program.
We offer sibling discounts. If you wish to enroll multiple children, please call the office.

Class Calendar
Classes run from September 2nd 2008 through May 16th 2009. Our recital for
Lambert Hall and Grace United classes is Sunday, May 17th.
We are closed for the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving, November 24th - 29th
- Winter Break, December 15th - January 3rd
- Spring Break, March 16th - 21st
